I just finished watching Barack Obama's Inauguration Speech - quite wonderful. I would like to go back and read it, and hear what others are saying about it.
In the meantime, let me direct you to Dr. Rev. Joseph Lowery's Benediction. A Methodist minister, Dr. Rev. Lowery co-founded the Southern Christian Leadership Conference Dr. MLK, Jr. He practically stole the show with his amazing imagery and astute humor, brilliantly capturing the seriousness and levity of the moment.
